Still Writing. Still Cleaning.

The downstairs looks wonderful now that it's all cleaned and painted. We'll be proud to show it off to my father-in-law, once he and Erin's step-mother pay us a visit. We still have the upstairs to do, though, so this blog will be short, as I've got to get to work.

The writing is going well. Fathom Five passed the 40000 word mark, and is now longer than Rosemary and Time (I'm sure the final word count will come down once we start editing). The climax is complete, and only a few isolated connecting scenes need to be written. The first draft should be done in the next couple of days, at which point I can do the happiness dance.

Dan, Erin and I also did some work on the สัตว์ใต้ท้องทะเลTrenchcoat Farewell Project, giving one of the weaker stories the Mystery Science Theatre 3000 treatment. We decided that, unlike a few other of my earlier entries, this story couldn't be saved, so send in Mike and the 'Bots.

Ye Gods, I've come a long way from that. It wasn't long before the three of us were doubled over in hysterics. It should be a fun read, at least.

So, back to cleaning, then family visits, and Fathom Five and its happiness dance.

The happiness dance sort of resembles the twist, for me, by the way. What's your happiness dance like?
